The basic essentials for good health include eating three balanced meals a day of wholesome foods like vegetables, grains, peas and beans, fruit, nuts and seeds and vegetarian or animal protein. Drinking many glasses of pure water each day is essential to prevent dehydration. Moderate exercise and adequate rest are equally important for energy levels and circulation. Supplements are not a substitute for healthy eating. They can be a support to our health. Supplements played an important part in my recovery from burnout and I continue to take them daily. (see my story in About the Director) And don't forget your vitamins. I have been taking supplements for over twenty five years.
